Knowledge Foundation grant to the industrial graduate school Smart Industry

The new industrial graduate school with a collaboration between University West, the University of Skövde, Jönköping University, Halmstad University and Mid Sweden University has been granted funding from the Swedish Knowledge Foundation. The school is targeting companies wanting to strengthen their competitiveness by forming the future key movers in industrial development with new, valuable expertise in the field of smart connected industry, also known as Industry 4.0. 

“Many companies are interested in the opportunities and the network that the graduate school presents, and we look forward to develop the collaboration during the coming years. Also the participating universities will benefit from working together and combining expert skills and areas. Together, we will strengthen our competitiveness and innovative skills!” says Kristina Säfsten, professor at Jönköping University and director of the graduate school.
